Yolanda Gonzalez

Yolanda Gonzalez, age 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday morning, June 10, 2018 at her residence. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Fatima Cemetery, with Deacon Denver Crawley as celebrant. Mrs. Gonzalez was born July 16, 1941 in Celaya, Mexico, the daughter of Roberto and Prisca (Albor) Gonzalez. She was a graduate of Celaya, Mexico High School. In April 1974, she was united in marriage to Jose Francisco Munoz in Hammond, Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2008. Yolanda was a homemaker at her own home. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking care of Lily, gardening, cooking, sewing and crocheting. Yolanda is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Guillermo Gonzalez Albor, Oscar Gonzalez Albor, and Roberto Gonzalez Albor; and sisters, Maria Elena Gonzalez Albor and Estela Gonzalez Albor. Survivors include her daughter, Margarita Munoz of Hillsboro; two brothers, Jose Luis Gonzalez Albor and Effrain Gonzalez Albor; four sisters, Aracely Gonzalez Albor, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez Albor, Angelica Gonzalez Albor and Yrelia Gonzalez Albor; a granddaughter, Analilia "Lily" Munoz-Carty; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott.
