Windle Reese, age 69, of Waco, passed away early Friday morning, February 17, 2017 at his son's residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Deryl LeBlanc officiating. Military Graveside Rites will follow at Gerald Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Windle was born March 1, 1947 in Waco, the son of Vernon and Myrtle (Saulter) Reese. He graduated from University High School in 1966 and served his country in the United States Army. Windle worked for Central Freight Lines as a diesel mechanic for over 20 years and Clayton Mobile Homes as a parts manager until his retirement in 2012. He was a faithful member of the Abundant New Life Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building and especially loved spending time with family and friends. Windle is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, R.L. Reese; two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Margaret Schoonover. Survivors include his son, Brandon Reese and wife Lisa of West; daughter, Shea Gutierrez and husband Chris of West; 7 grandchildren, Regan Henry and husband Blake, Mariah Reese, Fallyn Gutierrez, Sierra Reese, Trenton Gutierrez, Ryder Reese and Jordyne Reese; 1 great-grandson, Holt Henry; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Harold Butler, Sammy Shaw, Clay Brown, Ryder Reese, Blake Henry, and Trenton Gutierrez. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abundant New Life Church in Waco.
