Wilma Courtade Schneider, age 91, of Waco, passed away Friday morning, September 2, 2011 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in Waco. Graveside services will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West. Mrs. Schneider was born on November 7, 1919 in West, the daughter of Thomas Joseph and Dora (McFarland) Crum. She attended schools in the Axtell area. Wilma was married four times and all of her husband's have preceded her in death. She was married to Nick Riley, Alvin Mueller, Melvin Courtade and Ire Schneider. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid book reader. Wilma also worked as a manager for Paris Hat Shop and Moning's Department Store in Waco for several years until her retirement. She was a past member of Oaklawn Baptist Church of Bellmead. Wilma is also preceded in death by two sons, Glenn Riley and Gregory Riley; three brothers, Mart Crum, George Crum and Chester Crum; and two sisters, Ruth Crunk and Alva Bradbury. Survivors include a son, Mark Mueller of Robinson; a sister-in-law, Maxine Crum of Riesel; four grandchildren, Autumn, Leigh, Nicole and Wade; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Caritas of Waco.
