William Holder

William "Dickie" Holder, age 70, of Mt. Calm, passed away early Monday morning, March 11, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. The family will receive visitors 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday. Dickie was born November 1, 1942 in Gholson, the son of Robert and Alice (Wallace) Holder. He graduated from West High School in 1960 and worked for Central Freight Lines in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area for over 41 years. He enjoyed traveling to Branson, Missouri. He also loved going on trail rides, farming, and dirt track racing. Dickie is preceded in death by his father, Robert "R.H." Holder. Survivors include his mother, Alice Holder of Waco; fianc, Nancy Glover of Waco; two daughters, Deborah Holder and fianc Anthony Sciortino of Hallsburg and Amy Holder of Waco; a son, William Clay Holder of Waco; two brothers, Walter Holder and wife Judy and Bill Holder; three sisters, Ann Schofield, Ruby Rueffer and husband Melvin and Barbara Ainsworth and husband John; 5 grandchildren, Dillion, Jacob, Amanda, Crystal, and Jerrad; 2 great grandchildren, Avery and Aston; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
