Travis Fagan Sr., age 71, of West, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 11, 2020 at his residence. Memorial Services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the VFW Club in West. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Travis was born December 19, 1948 in Houston, the son of Giles and Lula (Fisher) Fagan. He attended Sam Houston School in Houston and received an associate degree with honors in commercial arts and advertising from Texas State Technical College in Waco. Travis proudly served his country in the United States Marines. On August 21, 1970 he was united in marriage to Mary Kruger in Houston. He worked as a carpenter and operated a delivery service through the Waco Airport. Travis enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, being in his garage listening to music, watching bull riding and watching Days Of Our Lives and The Young and The Restless. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Travis is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Michael Fagan; sisters, Sharon Fagan, Donna Fagan, and Debra Fagan; and sisters-in-law, Reabo and Connie. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary Fagan of West; a son, Travis Fagan Jr. and wife Stacy of West; a daughter, Wendy Kendrick and husband Clint of Grandview; grandchildren, Britney Lane and husband Cody, Courtney Fagan and her boyfriend Jared Brandon, Weston Glaser and wife Laura, Colton Glaser and wife Tara, and McKenzie Williams and husband Cody; a great grandson, Barrett Lane and a great granddaughter, Brynlee Grace on the way; his dog, Little Bit; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
