Tommy Wolf, age 78, of West, passed away late Sunday morning, February 25, 2018 at Life Care Hospital in Plano. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek, Rev. Paul Hudson, Rev. David Trahan, Rev. Darrell Kostiha as celebrants, assisted by Deacon Ronnie Sykora. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Tommy was born January 22, 1940 in Tours, the son of Mary (Schroeder) and Joe Wolf. He attended St. Mary's School and was a 1958 graduate of West High School. On July 8, 1961 he was united in marriage to JoAnn Foitek in West. Tommy worked for General Tire & Rubber Company in Waco for over 20 years. Over the years he was a very successful entrepreneur along with his brother Bill, they owned the Capital Service Station from 1974 to 1978, Big Wolfs from 1978 to 1986 and West Coin & Pallet Company since 1991. He was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, where he took great pride in supporting St. Anne's Altar Society. Tommy was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2305, West ACTS, KJT Society #31 and SPJST Lodge #54. He enjoyed socializing at the table of knowledge and supervising all the garden and yard work while cruising on his golf cart. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Ann Wolf; a brother, Joe A. Wolf; and a brother-in-law, Larry Rydel. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, JoAnn Wolf of West; his sons, Thomas Wolf Jr. and wife Lori and Rick Wolf and wife Michelle, all of West; grandchildren, Tamara Diemer and husband Neal, Kasey Rizo and fianc Candi Hurst, Chasity Smith and husband Adam, Madison Wolf, Wyatt Wolf and Sydney Wolf; great grandchildren, Hannah, Eden, Stone, Caiden, Keira and a little girl on the way; sisters, Jeanne Roznos and husband Eugene and Patsy Rydel; brothers, Floyd Wolf and wife Irene, Robert "Bob" Wolf and wife Marcella, Pat Wolf and William "Bill" Wolf and wife DeeDee; a sister-in-law, Helen Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Bill Wolf, Bill Foitek, Jerry Charanza, Tommy Muska, Carlos Salazar and Hugo Alvarado.
