Timothy Stuart Durgin

Timothy S. Durgin, age 53, of West, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence. Per his request, there are no services. Timothy was born July 4, 1958 in Bakersfield, CA the son of Stanley and Beverly Jean (Anderson) Durgin. He attended schools in Lynnwood, WA and graduated from Meadowdale High School prior to attending Edmonds Jr. College in Lynnwood. Timothy worked in aircraft maintenance for many companies in Switzerland, France, Germany, Canada and Hawaii. He was very proud to have helped put the nose on Air Force One. Timothy was a Catholic and a member of the Black Feet Indian Tribe in Montana. He enjoyed playing football, fishing, watching sports, and working on cars. He especially loved spending time with his family and taking care of his dogs, Willie, Chappy, Chewy and Chopper. Timothy is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Durgin. Survivors include a son, Anthony Durgin and fiance, Kayla McGaughy of Elm Mott; an adopted son, Ethan Ayers of West; his parents, Stan and Beverly Durgin of Mill Creek, WA; a brother, Patrick Durgin of Marysville, WA; two sisters, Terry Darrow and husband Mark of Kingston, WA and Nancy Durgin of Marysville, WA; a grandson on the way, Hayden; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Fire Department.
