Theodore"Ted" Barton, age 77, of Waco, passed away Sunday morning, October 3, 2021 at his residence. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. John Boiko as celebrant. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, conducted by West Veterans Honor Guard. Ted was born July 27, 1944 in West, the son of the late Cecelia (Susen) Barton Piscacek and Edmund Barton Sr. He attended St. Mary's School and West High School. Ted proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea. Ted was a former member of the Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post #4819 in West. He worked for William Cameron Company in Waco for several years. Ted enjoyed traveling to Port Aransas with his brothers for their annual fishing trip and was known for his sense of humor. He loved family gatherings and was a big fan of music from the 1950's and 1960's. Survivors include his brothers, Edmund Barton and wife Frances of Waco, Pat Barton of Round Rock, Fred Barton and wife Jan of Houston, Charles Piscacek and wife Kristy of Hewitt, John Piscacek and wife Carolyn of Pasadena, and Tom Piscacek and wife Debbie of Waco; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are his brothers.
