Tara Haberl

Tara Louise (Ford) Haberl, age 52, of Robinson, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, October 31, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco.


Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


Tara was born September 8, 1971 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of David Ford and Sharon (Treulieb) Harvison. She was a 1989 graduate of Kenwood High School in Essex, MD and a 1993 graduate of Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton, TX with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. On June 12, 1993 she was united in marriage to Paul Haberl in Waco. Tara was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Waco. She was also a member of the Robinson Band Boosters and the Robinson Education Foundation. She was a licensed registered nurse for over 30 years. Tara's most recent position was a nurse home visitor at Nurse Family Partnership at Hillcrest. While there, she would educate and advocate for mothers and their children across Central Texas. She had numerous innovations to better prepare mothers with their first baby. Tara was very creative and expressed this by scrapbooking, chalk painting, quilting, and making t-shirts, cups and other items for her family. She enjoyed watching and visiting Disney and Universal's Harry Potter. She cherished her time camping, decorating year round, and loved having Sunday dinners with family and friends.


Tara is preceded in death by her father, David Ford Sr. and her father-in-law, Malcolm Haberl.


Survivors include her beloved husband of 30 years, Paul Haberl of Robinson; her mother, Sharon Harvison and husband Alton; her mother-in-law, Doris Haberl; her children, Madison Haberl, Meredith Haberl, Makaelin Haberl and fiance Baylor Medlin, and Max Haberl; a sister, Carrie Copenhaver and husband Randy; a brother, David Ford Jr. and wife Susanne; a sister-in-law, Susan Darling and husband Jason; step brother, Patrick Harvison and wife Candy; nieces, Emily Ford, Mia Ford, and Brinley Darling; nephews, Jacob Ford and Jace Darling; and many other relatives and friends.


Pallbearers are Jacob Ford, Jace Darling, Jason Graham, Jeff Graham, Christopher Kubacak, and Brandon Sulak.
