Susan Miller, age 54, of Aquilla, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her residence. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki and Rev. Walter Dhanwar as celebrants. Burial will follow at the New Lebanon Cemetery near Aquilla. Susan was born July 31, 1967 in Waco, the daughter of Frank and Danelle (Urbish) Mynar. She was a 1985 graduate of West High School prior to receiving an associate degree in Child Development from McLennan Community College. On March 17, 1983 she was united in marriage to James Miller in Tours. Susan was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. She was also a member of SPJST Lodge #6 in Cottonwood and the West Fair and Rodeo Association. Susan was the owner and director of Tours Day Care for over 20 years before retiring in 2016. She also owned and operated Suzie Q's Boutique in West. She was very artistic, authored two books, "Cowboy Nativity" and "I Want To Be A Cowgirl" and wrote many songs including, "Little Things". Susan enjoyed creative cooking, baking, gardening, tending to her flowers, horses, and everything western. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Susan is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Diana Berger; her brother, Frank Joe Mynar; her mother-in-law, Mary Miller; brothers-in-law, Cody Dragoo and Howard Rotramel; and niece, Shelly Berger. Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, James Miller of Aquilla; three children, Coy Miller and wife Kourtney, Stormy Haddix and husband Mike, and Harli Miller, all of West; step-daughter, Elizabeth Miller; her sisters, Carolyn Sumner and husband Ron, Patty Dragoo, and Cindy Kubacak and husband Tony; her brothers, David Mynar and wife Janet and Michael Mynar and wife Natalie; her grandchildren, Clayton Wilson, Nathan Ortega, Marcus Goetz, Boone Haddix, Nate Haddix, Kaden King, Karter Mechell, Peyton Miller, Ryder Miller, and Emersyn Miller; her dog, Chi Chi; her father-in-law, Albert Miller; sisters-in-law, Judy Rotramel, Joan Davila and husband Noe, Jane Barr and husband Denny, June Danker and husband Ken, and Janice Otto and husband David; brothers-in-law, John Miller and Gary Berger; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Mike Berger, Josh Mynar, Travis Mynar, Dennis Davila, David Davila, Adam Danker, Brian Renegar, Travis Otto, Frank Castillo, Corey Price and Devin Orr. Honorary pallbearers are all of her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arc of McLennan County.
