Steven F. Neckar, Iii

Steven F. Neckar III, age 63, of Dallas passed away early Monday morning, April 10, 2017 at his residence. A rosary will be recited 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West by Janice Kaluza. A visitation with the family will follow until 4:00 p.m. Steven was born September 21, 1953 in Waco, the son of Steve Jr. and Mary (Soukup) Neckar. He graduated from Reicher High School. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Hansel in Dallas. She preceded him in death on November 1, 2015. He was currently working at Home Depot and Performance Bike Shop in Dallas. He also had owned the Ordinary Bike Shop in Waco for over 20 years in Waco. He enjoyed woodwork, selling and working on bicycles. Steven is also preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his children, Max Neckar and Sam Neckar of Dallas; his mother, Mary Neckar of West; a sister, Barbara Peevey and husband Rick of Bryan; two brothers, Danny Neckar of West and Billy Neckar and Carol of McKinney; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the sons for his funeral expenses.
