Stephanie Wyatt

Stephanie Michelle Wyatt, age 45, of Axtell, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023 in Waco following a very courageous battle with leukemia.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. Graveside Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Billington Cemetery near Axtell. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Stephanie was born February 21, 1978 in Waco, the daughter of Patricia (Davis) Wyatt and the late Floyd Eugene Wyatt. She was a 1996 graduate of Axtell High School prior to receiving an associate degree in cosmetology from McLennan Community College. Stephanie attended the First Baptist Church in West and St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. She helped to coordinate the arts and crafts exhibits for Westfest, was a judge for the Heart of Texas Rabbit Show and was a 4-H committee member for many years. She was an event planner for the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. Stephanie enjoyed dancing, crafting, bright colors, going to the lake, camping, floating down the river, having her toes in the sand, getting a good manicure and pedicure, everything outdoors, attending concerts, cooking, watching NASCAR races, and getting together with her tribe. She was very family oriented and loved her nieces, nephews, and everyone else's children as well.

Stephanie is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Wanda Wyatt; and maternal grandparents, Lewis and June Davis.

Survivors include her mother, Pat Wyatt of Axtell; her fiancé, Kevin Olson of Hubbard; her sisters, Jennifer Sanchez and husband Tyrone and Amy Graham and husband Leonard; nephews, T.J. Sanchez and wife Annamarie, and Chestin Graham; nieces, Destiny Sanchez, Tatum Graham, Chanci Graham, and Tinsler Graham; great niece and nephew, Emery and Wyatt "Banks" Sanchez; aunts, Anita Dorris, Connie Davis and husband Roy, and Janell Slovak and husband David; an uncle, Dale Wyatt; her tribe and bonus sisters; special friends Dede and Marcella; and many other cousins, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Tyrone Sanchez, T.J. Sanchez, Leonard Graham, Chestin Graham, Kevin Olson, Jerry Ellison, Bradley Matthys, and George Nors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McLennan County 4-H Chapter.
