Scott W. Nelson

Scott Winfred Nelson, age 43, of West, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2006 at his residence. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Mr. Nelson was born on February 27, 1963 in Dallas, the son of William and Lee (Hill) Nelson. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1983. On March 17, 2000, he was united in marriage to Kathy Lynn Jennings in Waco. In serving his country, he enlisted in the United States Navy for a short time. Scott loved music and most of career was being a musician. Survivors include his beloved wife, Kathy Nelson of West; five daughters, Stephanie Carter and family, Kelsie Carter & family and Kaitlyn Carter & family, all of Lamesa, Melissa Landford & family of Lindale and Crystal Taylor & family of Allen; his parents, Bill & Lee Nelson of Waco; Lucille Jennings of Lindale; one brother, Bill & family; two sisters, Connie and Sally & family; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
