Russell Kelly Smith

Russell Kelly Smith, age 59, of Aquilla, passed away Friday morning, May 5, 2023 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Gholson, with Rev. James Stevens officiating.

Russell was born March 22, 1964 in Waco, the son of Russell and Margaret (Donaldson) Smith. He attended Gholson grade school and was a 1982 graduate of Aquilla High School. Russell worked for Alford Company and William Taylor Construction as a Master Carpenter for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Northrup of Aquilla; his parents; his sons, Jacob Smith and wife Karen, Nathan Smith, and Mason Smith; his adopted children, Cody and Christina; several grandchildren including Skylee and Nathan; a sister, Helena Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Lebanon Cemetery Association.
