Royce Deal

Royce Deal, age 69, of Elm Mott, passed away Monday evening, June 22, 2015. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2015 at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. David Dover officiating. Royce was born November 15, 1945 in Dyer, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James R. and Ethel (Drake) Morrow. She was a 1965 graduate of Lemoore High School in California and McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas with a degree in Liberal Arts. She worked for Allergan in Waco for several years until her retirement in 2010. Royce was a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church in Waco. She enjoyed reading and arts and crafts. Royce especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her beloved husband of 41 years, Jim Deal of Elm Mott; a son, Jason Deal and wife Libby of Long Beach, CA; three daughters, Phaedra Deal of Gholson, Amanda Junek and husband Tim of Elm Mott, and Joanna Temples and husband Gary of Whitney; two brothers, Charles Morrow and James R. Morrow Jr.; six grandchildren, Raymond, Kristen, LaVon, Luke, Faye and Royce; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
