Rose Mary Shelton

Rose Mary Shelton, age 76 of Waco, passed away Saturday evening, March 10, 2007 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Waco. Graveside Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Freddie Debose, officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Mrs. Shelton was born March 4, 1931 in East St. Louis, Illinois, and had been a resident of Waco since 1955. She married Marshall Lee Shelton, Sr., December 21, 1959. He preceded her in death in 2000. She is also preceded in death by a son Bobby Cox in 2006, one brother and two sisters of Indianapolis, Indiana. Mrs. Shelton was employed as a seamstress at Powers Embroidery and Fab-Knit for a number of years. She is survived by two sons, Marshall L. (Bud) Shelton Jr. and wife Aimee of West and Curtis Shelton and wife Nancy of Waco; a daughter Delcia Graham and two sisters all of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
