Ronnie Ballance, Sr.

Ronnie James Ballance Sr., age 75, of Aquilla, passed away early Saturday morning, April 27, 2024 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Ronnie was born December 17, 1948 in Saint Louis, Missouri, the son of Ellen (Davis) and Edward Ballance Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of Vienna High School in Missouri. On March 30, 1968 he was united in marriage to Sharon Lorance in Saint Louis MO. Sharon preceded him in death on December 28, 2012. He was a fleet service clerk for American Airlines in Saint Louis for 38  years before retiring in 2003. Ronnie enjoyed AFX racing, bowling, collecting old coins, and building motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ronnie is also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arnold and Wayne Ballance; and a sister, Juanita Bracken.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Ballance Jr. of Aquilla; his grandsons, Joshua Ballance and wife Kaitlyn and Matthew Ballance, all of Hurst; a great grandson, Jasper Ballance; his sisters, Joan Reeves and husband Gary and Terry Tockstein; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
