Robert Lee "Bob" Richardson, age 76, of Waco, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 9, 2006 at Bellmead Rehab Center. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Mr. Richardson was born on April 19, 1930 in Illinois, the son of Sidney and Flossie Richardson. He graduated from Dresden High School in Tennessee. In serving his country, he joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. On February 23, 1957, he was united in marriage to Frances Louise Marek in Chicago. She preceded him in death on April 30, 2004. He worked as a truck driver for Davis Iron Works, Young Brothers and Oasis Water Company in Waco until his retirement in 1995. He also worked for TSI in Mesquite for a few years. Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and riding on his tractor. He was a member of American Legion. A stepdaughter, Barbara Jean Jepsen, also precedes him in death. Survivors include one son, John Wayne Richardson and wife Pamela of Waco; one step-son, Kenneth Ray Miaczynski and wife Josephine of Sault St. Marie, MI; five grandchildren, Brenda Beauchamp of St. Peters, MO, Donna Kuhl of Vista, CA, Doreen Morgan of O'Fallon, MO, Janine Mayberry of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Michael Miaczynski of Sault St. Marie, MI; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
