Robert Lee Bartz

Robert Lee Bartz, age 80, of Waco, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in Mustang, Oklahoma. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. by Robin Waters. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Robert was born November 9, 1937 in Corpus Christi, the son of Walter and Ruth Ann (Duke) Bartz. He attended schools in Waco and was a 1956 graduate of Waco High School. On August 17, 1964 he was united in marriage to Estelle Piscacek in Dell City, OK. Robert worked for Casper's Art Glass in Waco for over 35 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed listening to Blue Grass Music. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arthur Bartz; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Bartz. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Estelle Bartz; his children, Teresa DeSopo and husband James and Robert Bartz, all of Waco; a sister, Beverly Morawski and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Dominick, Sophie and James W. DeSopo; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the charity of your choice.
