Robert E. Cepak, age 77, of Waco, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Wesley Woods in Waco, surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from Noon Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Robert was born July 22, 1940 in West, the son of Cyril M. and Annie (Sulak) Cepak. He attended schools in Waco, graduating from University High School in 1959. On April 1, 1963, Robert was united in marriage to Emily Marie Torrance in Marlin. He served 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Robert worked as a long haul truck driver for Central Freight Lines in Waco for over 38 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco. Robert enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, boating, camping and playing dominoes. He especially loved spending time with his family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred Cepak, Raymond Cepak and Kenneth Cepak; and a sister, Clara Mitchell. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 54 years, Emily Cepak of Waco; daughters, Christi Kneece of Robinson and Melissa Boling and fianc Richie Schiltz of West; grandchildren, Noah Kneece and Allie Kneece; bonus grandchildren, Lia Schiltz, Joey Schiltz, Jodi Gates, Melissa Kneece and Cody Kneece; several great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Association.
