Rita Ferguson

Rita Ferguson, age 68, of West, passed away Thursday evening, January 2, 2025, at her residence.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. 

Rita was born June 7, 1956 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Herbert and Rita (Fievet) Swartz. She attended schools in Cleveland, Ohio. Rita worked in home health for over 32 years. She had a passion for reading, studying her Bible and growing plants. Rita loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids. 

Survivors include two daughters, Rochelle Witt and husband Richard of Waco, and Angelique Soza and husband Bobby of Early; two sons, Nicolas Woods of Covina CA., and Joseph Ferguson and wife Carrie of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Aidan, Autumn, Zoey, Zander, Luna, Bryson, Dario and Kyle; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital.
