Rick Binner

Rick Binner, age 69, of West, passed away early Monday morning, March 2, 2020 at his residence. Per his instructions, no services will be held. Rick was born January 23, 1951 in Waco, the son of the late Karl and Evelyn (McGee) Binner. He was a 1968 graduate of the Texas Military Institute in San Antonio. He also attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcus. He was an agent and promoter in the Austin and San Antonio areas for many years, booking many bands including The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ike and Tina Turner among many others. Rick was always known as the "life of the party" and enjoyed tinkering with cars out on the "ponderosa". Survivors include his brother, Fred Binner and wife Sandy of Fort Worth; two nephews, Kyle Binner and his wife Jaymee and Seth Binner; a niece, Ashley Brooks and her husband Ben; many other relatives and friends.
