Randy Lee Adair, age 59, of West, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 22, 2020 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rusty Kwast officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Limited capacity available for services, with masks and social distancing required. Randy was born September 18, 1961 in Waco, the son of Donald and Wanda (Wick) Adair. He was a 1980 graduate of West High School. He spent most of his life in West working as the "cattle whisperer". Randy also resided for some time in Norman, OK where he managed Sooner Trophies and designed many trophies for Oklahoma University. He truly enjoyed the outdoors and loved his annual fishing trip to Colorado. Randy was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. He adored spending time with family and friends, especially his girls and grandchildren. Randy is preceded in death by a grandson, Levi. Survivors include his beloved daughters, Emily Landfried and fiance Erick Campos of Axtell, and Stacey Ready and wife Brittney of West; his grandchildren, Sam, Tyson, Carli, Kinzey, Taidum, Kayson, and Callie; his parents, Donald and Wanda Adair; six siblings, Donna Kwast and husband Rusty, Gary Adair and wife Brenda, Diane Adair, Larry Adair and wife Deri, Melissa Adair, and Terry Adair and wife Shilo; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Association of McLennan County.
