R. Joe Mcdaniel

R. Joe McDaniel, age 69, of West, passed away late Tuesday night, August 18, 2020 at his residence. Memorial services may be held at a later date. Joe was born April 28, 1951 in Waco, the son of W. H. McDaniel and Frances (Atchison) McDaniel Butler. He attended schools in Crawford and was a 1969 graduate of Crawford High School. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for the railroad, for several area computer repair firms and for Aquilla & Priscilla Tent Company. Joe was also a cross country truck driver and a deliveryman for FedEx. Joe enjoyed working in his garage, gardening, and cooking. Joe is also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard McKay; a sister, Jeanette Smith; and a step sister, Sandra Langford. Survivors include his wife; Annabella McDaniel of West; daughter, Melissa Moulton and husband Darrin of Edmond, OK; step children, Lori Lee, Geri Heppel, John Maycumber, and Danna Wolfe; brothers, Louie McDaniel and William Lee McDaniel and wife Maria; three grandchildren, Sydne, Noah and Claire Moulton; his former wife, Brenda McKay and husband Tom; step sisters, Carol Mitchell and Marilyn Winford; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
