Prudencia "Lisa" Cordova Srubar, age 62, of West, formerly of Hillsboro, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, November 17, 2015 at her residence. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday November 20, 2015 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Prudencia was born December 9, 1952 in Brownsville, the daughter of Casiano and Agapita Lopez Cordova. She attended school in Brownsville. On March 13, 2010, she was united in marriage to David Srubar in West. Prudencia worked as manager for Joe Holy Pool Hall in West. Prudencia leaves a legacy of love behind for her family to cherish as she always put her family first and was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter. She loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest. Prudencia enjoyed listening to country music. Prudencia is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Casiano Cordova Jr. Survivors include her husband of 5 years, David Srubar of West; daughter, Irma Linda Cruz; sons, Zeferino Cruz Jr. and wife Adriana and George Cruz and wife Angie; sisters, Maria del Jesus Villaloboz, Margarita Rodriguez, Agapita Ortiz and Carmen Rodriguez; four beautiful granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Dr. Edward Cooney and nurses Tami from hospice and Patricia from Home Health for their love and support to our family.
