Pearson Casey, age 78, of Waco, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 22, 2016, in Waco. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with Rev. Larry Krueger and Rev. Eddie Scheler Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Casey was born December 14, 1937 in Wardville, OK, the son of Graden and Nellie (Pearson) Casey. He graduated from Kiowa High School in Kiowa, OK in 1956. On May 4, 1979 he was united in marriage to Wilma Dankinbrig in Waco. Casey worked as a maintenance engineer for MKT and Union Pacific Railroads over 30 years until his retirement. Casey loved woodworking and did many craft shows in the Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas areas. He also enjoyed dancing, deer hunting with his brothers and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead. Casey is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Ida Casey; brothers, Reo Casey and Warren Casey; and a sister, Betty Lou Shouse. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Casey of Waco; two daughters, Treva St. Andre and Johnny Mounce of Waco and Renee Casey and Robert Webb of McAlester, OK; a sister, Cleo Stone; a step-daughter, Debbie Griffin; grandchildren, Nichole Pfeffer and fiance Mandi Davis and Justin Pfeffer and wife Kristina; step grandchildren, Marc Griffin and wife Candy, Chris Griffin and wife Dixie and Chelsea Brooks and husband Blake; great-grandchildren, Emeri, Graden and Aislin; step-great-grandchildren, Brook, Colton and Marcus II; other extended family including, Stephen Stewart and daughter Toni, Joyce Goodwin and husband Dean and their children, Melissa and husband Curtis, Janet, Leah and husband Derrell and their children; and special friends, Sandra Schuetz and family, Roger and Charlene Kirby and family, and Tye and Anna White and family; and several other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Pallbearers are Roger Kirby, Tye White, Justin Pfeffer, Nichole Pfeffer, Dwain Schuetz, Brandon Schuetz, Justin Schuetz and Kadale Kolar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Providence Hospice of Waco.
