Patty Louise Harkins

Patty Louise Harkins, age 47, of Mansfield, formerly of West, passed away Sunday morning, April 4, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Mansfield. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with the Rev. Anthony Odiong as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Patty was born on September 20, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Allen and Margaret (Skopik) Wright. She attended West schools and graduated from West High School in 1981. She also received an associate degree from Texas State Technical College. Patty worked as a Graphic Artist. She loved spending time with her daughters and family. She enjoyed walking and hiking with her dogs, volunteering at the soup kitchens, working, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. She is a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wright and an infant brother Michael Wright. Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie Wolf and friend William Gamble of Austin, Meghan Wolf of Arlington, and Nicole Harkins of Mansfield; her mother, Margaret Wright Matus of West; three brothers, Terry Wright and wife Jill and Steve Wright and wife Cindy all of Spring, and Pat Wright and wife Jennifer of West; two sisters, Debbie Pavlicek and husband James and Michelle Wolf and husband Rick, all of West; her dogs, Como and Bella; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
