Pattie Niemi

Patricia (Stanislav) Niemi, age 63, of Elm Mott, passed away Wednesday morning, August 24, 2022 at her residence. A rosary will be recited 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, with Rev. Walter Dhanwar as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Pattie was born November 3, 1958 in Waco, the daughter of Barbara (Parma) and the late Robert "Buck" Stanislav. She attended St. Mary's School and was a 1977 graduate of West High School. On January 1, 2001 she was united in marriage to Harly John Niemi in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pattie was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. She was also a member of the SPJST Lodge #66 in Waco where she was very active with the youth program and all their activities. Pattie most recently worked for Texas State Technical College in Waco. She also worked for Tatex, H.E.B in Bellmead, West Elementary School, the Ellis County Tax Office and Hickory Farms in Waco. Pattie enjoyed cooking holiday meals for her family, going out to eat Chinese food, watching movies, shopping, camping, redecorating and making home improvements, and going on trips to the Oregon coast. She was a passionate Baylor Bear fan and season ticket holder. She loved spending time with her family, especially visits from her beloved grandchildren. Pattie is also preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Harlan and Elizabeth Niemi. Survivors include her beloved husband of 21 years, Harly John Niemi of Elm Mott; her mother, Barbara Stanislav of West; two daughters, Alica Neslony and Amanda Wiswall and husband John, all of Waco; her grandchildren, Natalie, Anna, and Zachary; a brother, Steven Stanislav; sisters, Janice Roessler and husband Mark and Donna Donnell and husband Kevin; nephews, Brett Donnell and Justin Roessler and wife Dorenda; nieces, Keri Roessler, Hailey Donnell, Kourtney Donnell, and Kambry Donnell; her beloved dogs, Tucker Joe and Nola; her cats, Bob and Lucy; and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Paul Neslony, John Carroll, Gary Tate, Brett Donnell, Justin Roessler, and John Wiswall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waco Humane Society.
