Patsy Valentine

Patsy Ruth Valentine, age 90, of Royse City, formerly of West and Waco, passed away early Friday afternoon, November 29, 2024 at the Royse City Medical Lodge.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

Patsy was born January 10, 1934 in West, the daughter of Estle and Wilma (Morgan) Tunmire. She was a 1952 graduate of West High School and attended McLennan Community College for courses in Real Estate. On May 23, 1952 she was united in marriage to James W. Valentine in West. After 66 years of marriage, James preceded her in death on July 1, 2018. Patsy was a faithful member of the Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Waco, where she was active with all church activities and worked with Vacation Bible School. She was a homemaker, housewife, and Mother. Patsy enjoyed crocheting, baking cakes, gardening, and oil painting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Patsy is also preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Ruth Sullivan and Elizabeth Meisell.

Survivors include her children, James Carl Valentine and wife Tiffany and Beverly Six and husband Scott; a son-in-law, Rodney Meisell; her grandchildren, Shannon Russell and husband Tim, Robert Meisell and wife Lanie, Jeremy Sanders, Karen Lamkin, Shaun Valentine and wife Dyana, Matthew Valentine and wife Kristi, Andrew Valentine, Taylor Valentine, Randy Valentine, Audrey Pollard and husband Cody, and Marc Pettersen and wife Myranda; her great grandchildren, Cody, Madison, Recina, Zoe, Kairi, RJ, Grayson, Levi, Madysen, Kayden, Kayne, Avery, Abby, Hannah, Noah, Maddox, Kylie, Loryn, and Kynleigh; her sister, Nelda Kreder; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Robert Meisell, Matthew Valentine, Randy Valentine, Marc Pettersen, and Jeremy Sanders.
