Patsy Pinter Barnes

Patsy Joe Pinter Barnes, age 60, of West, passed away Saturday evening, January 27, 2018 near West, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Patsy was born June 14, 1957 in Waco, the daughter of Sam and Joyce (Hill) Pinter. She attended schools in West. Patsy founded, owned and operated Patsy's Cleaning Service for over 30 years, serving the Austin area and supporting her family which she loved deeply. She was a natural interior decorator and planner, and spent her spare time using her gifts to help family and friends plan for and celebrate all of life's special moments. If there was a wedding, birthday, baby shower, graduation, you name it, Patsy was going to make it extra special! Her motto in life was "We live, we love, we forgive and never give up because the days we are given are a gift from above." Patsy is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Pinter; aunts, Patsy Joe Morgan and May Johnson; and uncles, Ray Morgan and Pete Johnson. Survivors include her children, Tameka Thomas and husband Marlin of Manor, Teanna Roland and Michael "Red" Leach of Pflugerville, Andrea Olschowka and husband Jason of Hollister, CA, and Daniel Barnes of Dale; her father, Sam Pinter of West; a brother, Sammy Pinter and wife Kathy; a sister, Debbie Polansky and husband Freddie; grandchildren, Scarlett Rose Barnes, Braylon Thomas, Zane Thomas, Kierra Roland, Keenen Roland, Mikaya Leach, Mianna Leach, Michael Leach Jr. (on the way), Justin Olschowka, Alora Olschowka, David Olschowka, Zackary Olschowka, and Victoria Olschowka; great grandchildren, Bailey Joe, Zayden and Kaysen; nephews, Jacob and Colton Polansky and Jason and Corey Pinter; and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Florida Glycogen Storage Disease Program in honor of her grandson, Keenen Roland.
