Patsy Jean Franks

Patsy Jean Franks, age 82, of West, passed away early Saturday morning, May 19, 2007 at West Rest Haven in West. No public services will be held. Mrs. Franks was born January 27, 1925 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of James and Lillian (Bunch) Darwin. She was raised in and attended schools in Waco. On April 22, 1944 she was united in marriage to Wesley Franks in Waco. Patsy was a nurse's aide for 20 years at West Community Hospital and 10 years at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. She enjoyed taking care of others and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Franks. Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years, Wesley Franks of West; two sons, James Wesley Franks and his wife Kristine of Waco and William E. "Bill" Franks of West; one daughter, Carol Hamilton and husband Steve of Mart; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
