Patricia Ann Gerik

Patricia Ann (Williams) Gerik, age 74, of Waco, passed away late Sunday afternoon, April 9, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Statesboro, Georgia.

Patricia was born April 24, 1948 in Register, Georgia, the daughter of Cleveland and Myrtle (Waters) Williams. She was a graduate of Statesboro High School in Statesboro, GA. On November 11, 1986 she was united in marriage to Bruce Gerik in Houston. She was an administrative assistant for Texas State Technical College for over 15 years before retiring in 2003. Patricia enjoyed collecting antiques, painting, and drawing. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mandi Gerik; and brothers, Jimmy Roberts and James Williams.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 37 years, Bruce Gerik of Waco; three sons, Jamie Smith Jr. and wife Rosa of Statesboro, GA, Mark Gerik and wife Debbie of Robinson, and Kevin Gerik of Round Rock; daughter, Shelly Prince and husband Wesley of Lacy Lakeview; her grandchildren, Suzanna Smith, Kristen Smith, Eli Smith, Jacob Smith, Jessie Smith, Ashley and Drew Chavarria, Amber and Mike Cline, Kaitlyn Gerik, Kelsie Gerik, Tristan Gerik, and Gavin Gerik; two sisters, JoAnn Gunter and Jean Parham and husband Billy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
