Pat (Long) Dieterich, age 62, of Ross, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 30, 2018 at Providence Hospital in Waco. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Pat was born August 30, 1955 in Waco, the daughter of Billy and Myrtle (Heath) Long. She attended schools in Ross and West and was a 1973 graduate of West High School prior to attending MCC and Vogue Cosmetology School. On March 29, 1991 she was united in marriage to Stephen Dieterich in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pat was a nail technician for several places in West and Waco, including Head Tu Toe in Hewitt. She also worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Plant. Pat was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours where she taught religious education. She was also a member, assistant youth leader and District 3 Secretary of the SPJST Lodge #6 in Cottonwood, American Sokol, West Sokol. Pat enjoyed crafts, taking care of her flower beds and watching NCIS, Bones, Supernatural and the Food Network. She especially loved spending time with her grandbabies and her car "Scarlet". She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Tammy McQuillen. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Stephen Dieterich of Ross; her children, Tory Dobecka and husband Kevin of Ross, Christopher Dieterich and wife Melissa of Osage, Evan Ricketts and wife Heather of Crawford and Lakn Dieterich of Ross; a brother, Michael Long; grandchildren, Rendon, Quinlan, Heidi, Jake and Hailey; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sokol West and the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
