Novelda Lee (Holder) Hannaman, age 66, of West, passed away early Thursday morning, October 23, 2014 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Pastor Tim Strebeck officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Novelda was born January 9, 1948 in Mineral Wells, the daughter of William E. and Mamie Louise (Hight) Holder. She was a 1965 graduate of Laytonville High School in California and received her LVN Degree from Texarkana Community College. Novelda worked for General Telephone Company in San Angelo before retiring in 1995. She had also worked for the Collon & Carney Clinic, Wadley Hospital, and St. Michael's Hospital all in Texarkana and the Shannon Clinic in San Angelo. She was a member of Leary Baptist Church. Novelda enjoyed painting, sewing, reading, working with arts and crafts and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Rodney Hannaman and wife Libby of Bryan; a daughter, Rhonda Bradshaw and husband Chip of West; two brothers, Charles Holder and wife Sheila, and Billy Holder; a sister, Mary Adkinson and husband Kelly; four granddaughters, Megan Hannaman, Codi Hannaman, Sydney Bradshaw and Lacy Bradshaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Texas Baptist Men.
