Norma Louise Ellison, age 79, of Waco, formerly of West and Itasca, passed away early Friday morning, February 2, 2007 at Royal Manor Nursing Home in Hewitt. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Minister Truman Stinson officaiting. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Itasca Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ellison was born March 22, 1927 in Itasca the youngest of eleven children to Isaac Levi and DeLiah Frances (Miller) Stinson. She attended schools in Osceola and Itasca and graduated from Itasca in 1944. On December 23, 1944 she was united in marriage to Aaron B. Ellison. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1999. Norma was a homemaker and a seamstress. She worked for Rose Marie Sewing Factory in Itasca for over 8 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of the West Church of Christ and a former member of the Itasca Church of Christ. Norma enjoyed listening to music, being a good friend, playing the piano, preparing Sunday dinners, and taking evening walks. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son, Paul Aaron Ellison and his wife Candyce of Hewitt; two daughter, Linda Frances St. John and her husband Doug of Lorena and Marianne Mellgren and her husband Walt of West; one sister, Wilma Walker of Mission; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are Chris Cummings, Jason Cummings, Walt Mellgren III, Michael Mellgren, David Mellgren, Bradley Cummings, Randy Ellison and Charles Draper.
