Nollie Odle

November 12, 1941 — February 22, 2025

Nollie Joan (Elsik) Odle, age 83, of West, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, February 22, 2025 where she was met in heaven by her parents, two sisters, and an infant brother.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Robin Waters officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery near Ross.

Nollie was born November 12, 1941 in Fayetteville, Texas, the youngest daughter of Joe and Frances (Marusik) Elsik. She attended schools in Fayetteville and was a 1960 graduate of Fayetteville High School where she loved participating in all sports. She moved to West and worked for Behrens Drug Company in Waco for several years. Nollie was a Sales Coordinator for Bird-Kultgen Ford in Waco for almost 47 years before retiring in 2013. On July 29, 1961 she was united in marriage to Charles Odle. Charles preceded her in death on May 28, 2007. Nollie enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and playing cards. She loved baking cookies with her grandson, Aaron, and taking care of her dogs, T-Bone and Ralph. Nollie had a positive attitude and a kind heart, always putting others first and enjoying life to the fullest. She approached every challenge with grace and humility.

Nollie is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gladys Colley and Lillie Kasparek; and an infant brother, Jimmie Elsik; her fiance', Henry "Hambone" Snokhous; and brothers-in-law, Ernest Matus, Percy Kasparek, Woodrow Colley, and Elward Ruffin.

Her memory will be cherished, her love felt always and her legacy will live on through the lives of those she loved so dearly including her daughter, Lynette Rauschhuber and husband John; her grandson, Aaron Rauschhuber and girlfriend Kayla Garner; a sister, Millie Ruffin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers are Aaron Rauschhuber, Hunter Coble, Fred Matus, Pete Posas, Tootie Posas, and Gordon Coble.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue in Waco.

The family would like to thank West Rest Haven for their love and care provided to Nollie.
