Nicolasa Ramirez, age 64, of Elm Mott, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020 at Providence Health Center in Waco. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Limited capacity available for services, with masks and social distancing required. Nicolasa was born November 13, 1955 in GTO, Mexico, the daughter of Silvino and Josefina (Aguliar) Ramirez. Nicolasa was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church in Waco. She worked for Cargill in Waco for 20 years before retiring in 2015. Nicolasa enjoyed taking care of her plants, dancing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Nicolasa is also preceded in death by her parents; a brothers, Anastasio Ramirez and Julio Ramirez; and a sister, Domitila Ramirez. Survivors include children, Carmen Castro of Bellmead, Monica Castaneda and husband Homero of Bellmead, and Lusia Barrera and husband Luis of Elm Mott; her brothers, Jesus Ramirez and Primitivo Ramirez; her sisters, Lusia Ramirez, Brisia Munoz and Anna Vargas; her grandchildren, Ariana, Esequil, Elisa, Melina, Catalina, Araseli, Jose, Maleya, Isiaha and Emmanuel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Lupe Munoz, Jaime Munoz, Luis Barrera and Homero Castaneda.
