Nancy Claborn

Nancy Claborn, age 87, of Ross, passed away early Thursday morning, November 12, 2020 peacefully at her residence. Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Bold Springs Cemetery in West, with John Moberg officiating. Nancy was born March 14, 1933 in Burnet, the daughter of James and Lucile (Land) Keele. On January 29, 1954 she was united in marriage to Billy Claborn in Kilgore. Billy preceded her in death on February 17, 2012. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a clinic in Lubbock for several years as well as a homemaker. Nancy attended Homestead Heritage. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, singing, sewing and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gloria Teague, Doris Martin, and Bonnie Cobb; and a brother, Doman Keele. Survivors include her children, Garnett W. "Joe" Claborn and wife Loradawn of Waco, Jay Claborn and wife Nancy of Charlotte, NC, Mitchell Claborn and wife Sandra of Allen, and Alison Garner and husband Robby of Farmers Branch; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Rheba Wilson; her brother, James Keele; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bold Springs Cemetery Association or the charity of your choice.
