Mildred (Ondrej) Tooley, age 75, of Burleson, passed away late Friday evening, November 15, 2013 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Dr. Sam Mings, Olympic Chaplain, Rev. Scott Sharman and Rev. Boniface Onjefu officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mildred was born December 5, 1937 in Massey, the daughter of August and Anna (Mynar) Ondrej. She attended Penelope schools and on January 11, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jimmy G. Tooley in Alvarado. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Ondrej, Ben Ondrej and Lawrence Ondrej; and a sister, Dorothy Vybrial. Survivors include her beloved husband of 55 years, Jim Tooley of Burleson; a son, Keith Tooley and wife Lori of Burleson; two daughters, Gina Weems and husband Chuck of Burleson and Kristin Sills and husband Todd of Bristol; brother, George Ondrej and wife Patti; sisters, Evelyn Pappas and Mary Ann Jones; sisters-in-law, Joan Ondrej, Nellie Ondrej, Pat Fillingim and husband Buck and Kay Gravette and husband Mike; brothers-in-law, Joe Tooley and wife Laverne, Don Tooley and wife Jan; 5 grandchildren, Michael Weems and wife Stacy, Lindsay Weems, Tyler Tooley, Brady Tooley and Ryann Sills; 2 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ryder; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Glen Fillingim, Bruce Fillingim, Lance Ondrej, Anthony Vybiral, Gregory Vybiral and Lawrence Ondrej Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lay Witnesses for Christ International or Special Olympics.
