Mildred Dallmann, age 88, of Waco, passed away early Saturday morning, June 24, 2006 at a Waco nursing home. A rosary will be recited 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Vincent Chacko, IMS as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Dallmann was born January 31, 1918 in Dallas, the daughter of Ivy Weber and Dora (Ratley) Petty. She attended schools in the Dallas area before serving in the United States Army with the Women's Auxiliary Corp during World War II. Upon her discharge she worked for the United States Civil Service Board, the Railroad Retirement Agency, and the United States Department of Agriculture as a secretary. She was married to William J. Dallmann and he preceded her in death. Mildred was a Catholic. Her parents and a son, William J. Dallmann III also preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister, Celia Grady of Bedford; many nieces and nephews; her fellow residents and caregivers of Woodland Springs Nursing Home in Waco; and several other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Woodland Springs Memorial Fund.
