Michael Spinks

Michael Spinks, age 59, of Blum, passed away Tuesday evening, October 11, 2022 at his residence.

Memorial Service with Masonic Rites will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with John Milburn officiating.

Michael was born May 27, 1963 in Dallas, the son of Molly (Sinkule) Spinks and the late Paul Spinks. He graduated high school in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1981. In 1983 he graduated from college earning an associates degree in Agriculture Business with a major in Marketing and Management.  He worked as a farmer the majority of his life. Michael enjoyed riding horses, fishing, barbecuing, going to the lake, and being with his friends. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #196 in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his mother, Molly Spinks of Richardson; sisters, Donna Lassa and husband Brett, and Michele Binder and husband Bill; his girlfriend, Leslie Barrett; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
