Michael Kelinske, Sr.

Michael L. Kelinske Sr., age 74, of Elm Mott, passed away late Saturday afternoon, November 11, 2023 in Waco.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. John Woodard officiating. Military Graveside Rites will follow at Gerald Cemetery, conducted by West Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Michael was born April 25, 1949 in Waco, the son of Monroe and Angela (Hutyra) Kelinske. He was a 1967 graduate of Connally High School. Michael proudly served his country as a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Army and Texas Army National Guard for a total of 42 years until his retirement in 2009. Michael enjoyed hunting, going to the deer lease, fishing, playing cards and drinking beer with his friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Crystal Kelinske.

Survivors include his children, April Smith and Chris Rankin, and Michael Kelinske Jr. and wife Natalie; a brother, Monroe Kelinske Jr. and wife Valerie; his grandchildren, Taylor  Smith, Kaela Smith, Caroline Kelinske, and Claire Kelinske; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
