Michael Fitzhugh

Mike Lee Fitzhugh, age 63, of Ross, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his residence. Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Mike was born August 19, 1958 in Waco, the son of Bill and Helen (Toten) Fitzhugh. He was a 1977 graduate of Waco High School. Mike was a system analyst for Oncor Electric Company for 36 years before retiring in 2015. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, fishing, working around the farm, bar-b-queuing, and hanging out with his many friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Mike was a member of the West Masonic Lodge and the APA Pool League, where he went to many tournaments and qualified for events in Las Vegas. Mike is preceded in death by parents and the mother of his son, Natalie Smith. Survivors include his son, Zach and Kassie Fitzhugh of Penelope; a brother, Markum Fitzhugh; two grandsons, Bentley Lamere and Jase Fitzhugh; and many other relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Witt, Mike Rasco, Bill Craig, and Terry Kelm.
