Micah Newman

Micah Newman, age 44, of Elm Mott, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Elder Daryl Inmon officiating.

Micah was born September 11, 1978 in Waco, the son of Roger and Donna (Horn) Newman. He attended West schools and was a 1997 graduate of West High School. Following his high school years, Micah proudly made the decision to serve his country in the United States Navy. He later worked as a mechanic for Vintage Auto in West. Micah enjoyed spending his time riding and working on motorcycles and old vehicles.

Micah is preceded in death by his father, Roger Newman.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Sartor and husband David of Elm Mott; brothers, Shane Newman and wife Michele, and Samuel Sartor and wife Kim; sister, Jennifer Shinpaugh and husband Roy; several long-time friends including Todd Blahuta; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels in West, or the charity of your choice.
