Maurice Schoenrock

Maurice Schoenrock, age 78, of West passed away late Sunday evening, June 19, 2016 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waco. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the West Church of Christ, with Minister Ernie Albrecht officiating. Maurice was born June 30, 1937 in Clifton, the son of William and Solvey (Hanson) Schoenrock. He attended schools in Clifton. Maurice worked was a salesman for Waco Hardware for 28 years. He then owned Frost Hardware for several years before retiring in 1994. Maurice was a Lutheran. He enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and wrestling. He loved dirt track racing, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Maurice is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David Schoenrock and Stanley Schoenrock. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Schoenrock of West; step-daughters, Diane Silver of Valley Mills and Kimberly Burk and husband Todd of Canton; a step-son, David Tollison and wife Sheila of Waco; grandchildren, James Schoenrock and special friend Erica Bates and Katilyn Schoenrock; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; nieces, Twila Sivils and husband Dean and Carolyn Schoenrock; nephews, James Schoenrock and Daniel Schoenrock; a very special cousin, John Roach; and many other cousins and friends. Memorials may be made to the West Church of Christ.
