Matthias Wolfie Culp

Matthias "Wolfie" Culp, age 16, of West, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with David Snipes officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Matthias was born October 10, 2002 in Clifton, the son of Dajin and Paula (Worley) Culp. He attended West schools and was a Junior at West High School where he played the trumpet for the "Pride of West" West High School Marching Band and the guitar for the school Jazz Band. He worked for the Sonic Drive-In of West. Matthias enjoyed heavy rock & roll music, playing the guitar, reading, playing video games, camping and playing in the woods. He loved spending time with his family and all his friends. Matthias is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Waymon Culp and maternal grandfather, Clint Worley. Survivors include his father, Dajin N. Culp of West; his mother, Paula Culp of Ross; his brother, Dajin N. Culp II of Dawson; his sister, Tivy Ann Culp of Ross; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Ann Culp; his maternal grandmother, Linda Culp; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West High School Band.
