Mason Zayne Vanzandt

Mason Zayne VanZandt, infant son of Michael and Brandi (Jones) VanZandt of Gholson, passed away early Friday morning, April 29, 2011 at Cook Children's Medical Center in Ft. Worth. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Gholson Cemetery, with Bob Jones officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mason was born March 27, 2011 in Waco. He is preceded in death by a special aunt, Rose Jones. Survivors include his parents; a brother Michael VanZandt II, two sisters, Erin and Jolee VanZandt; his paternal grandparents, James and Elizabeth VanZandt of Waco; his maternal grandfather, Wendell Jones and wife Cynthia of Houston; his maternal grandmother, Cheryl Clark of Waco; his maternal great grandparents, Irvin Derrell Jones and wife Gilma or Adamsville and Sam Clark and wife Ann of Gatesville; aunts, Haley Jones and Kimberly Taylor; uncles, Randy Jones, Scott VanZandt, and Doug VanZandt; and many other cousins, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gholson Volunteer Fire Department.
