Mary Lou Moore

Mary Lou Moore, age 90, of Woodway, formerly of West, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, March 1, 2022, at St. Anthony's Center in Waco. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Pastor Lee Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mary Lou was born May 4, 1931 in Bremond, the daughter of Sam and Ruby (Connell) Sims. She was a homemaker, mother and worked for Lorch Manufacturing Company in West for over 10 years. Mary Lou enjoyed reading, playing games, painting, and listening to music. She loved entertaining and cooking for people, especially her family. She was faithful to her church and church family wherever she lived. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her beloved husband John H. Moore; her parents; brothers, Charles Sims, Billy Ray Sims, and Donald Sims; and sisters, Maudie Walters, Ruby Helen Brewer, and Nola Sims. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Edith Mosely of Eddy, Shirley and Jack Dawson of Hinton, OK, Gearld Wayne and Dorothy Bradburry of Mena, AR, Connie Paris of Waco, Brenda and Jerry Fullingim of Chandler, Rickey Bradburry of Diana, Bethany and Gary Struth of Ross, and Janie and Michael Smith of Elm Mott; a brother, James Sims; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
