Mary Sykora Klimitchek, age 90, of West, passed away Monday evening, May 14, 2007 at West Rest Haven. A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home by Janice Kaluza. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mary was born on February 13, 1917 in Hill County. She worked as a beade machine operator for General Tire and Rubber Company for twenty-five years and The Village Bakery for nineteen years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing forty-two and bingo. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Sykora and Leo Klimitchek, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Stuckly and her husband Jimmy of West; one step-daughter, Marie Dulock and her husband Frank of Bryan; one sister, Ann Roberson of Waco; two grandchildren, Kavin Stuckly and his wife Kathleen and Kyle Stuckly and his wife Sheryl; three step-grandchildren, Chris, Angela, and James Dulock; four great-grandchildren, Zachary Stuckly, Nathan Stuckly, Katherine Stuckly, and Raymond "R.J." Stuckly; several nieces, including Marcie Pruitt and her husband Robert of Bellmead, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers will be Kavin Stuckly, Kyle Stuckly, John Polansky, Bobby Bounds, Robert Pruitt, and Lucas Pruitt. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Parish Center.
