Mary Jane (Kaluza) Urbanovsky, age 61, of Elm Mott, formerly of West, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, September 17, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A rosary will be recited 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mary Jane was born December 12, 1957 in Waco, the daughter of the late Alfred and Aline (Marek) Kaluza. She attended St. Mary's School and was a 1976 graduate of West High School. Mary Jane was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and was known to be very strong in her faith and adamant about saying her prayers daily. She was also a member of SPJST Lodge #54 in West. She worked at Lorch Manufacturing and Stuckey's prior to becoming a printer for Tatex Printing in Waco from 1983 to 2012. Mary Jane, affectionately known as "Nanny", loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, most of all especially attending all of their sporting and school events. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, visiting with her friends, watching Hallmark movies, and making her mom's angel food cake. She found joy in being outdoors while admiring her wind chimes and solar lights and watching beautiful sunsets. Survivors include her dearly beloved children, Keith Urbanovsky and fianc Kerri Niemeyer of Elm Mott and Kasandra Kalina and husband Aaron of West; her beloved grandchildren, Paige, Kinsey, Wyatt and Savanna; her siblings, Dottie Tichavsky and husband Raymond, Jimmy Kaluza, Freddie Kaluza and wife Janice, Ronnie Kaluza and wife Linda, Danny Kaluza, Arlene Hoelscher and husband Phil, and Tommy Kaluza and wife Kelly; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Pallbearers are her nephews, Andrew Kaluza, Shawn Kaluza, Justin Kaluza, Brandon Kaluza, Jacob Kaluza, Nathan Kaluza, Shane Kaluza, Brian Kaluza, Dillon Hoelscher, Dalton Hoelscher, Gene Hykel, Darrell Urbanovsky, Paul Urbanovsky and Matt Biles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.
